Most portrait sessions range from 1-2 hours long. However much time is spent shooting requires about twice the same time for processing and editing. So, for a one-hour photo shoot where I also edit the pictures, the total would be $225 ($75/hr). Additional expenses may be negotiated (long-distance travel, equipment rental, lodging etc.). For 8 hours of wedding coverage, including rehearsal or any other sessions included within that time, the total cost would be $1800.
Rates are negotiable depending on the circumstances of the events being photographed.
Please let me know if you are interested in video, which may carry a different rate. A 3-5 minute multimedia piece requires about 30 hours of work; at $70/hr, that's $2250.
